FAQs

Why did Brad start Dads Dojo?

Dads Dojo is inspired by Brad’s journey into fatherhood. When he found out his wife was pregnant he dove into learning - reading books, watching videos, and aggregating as much information as he could to evolve his fundamental understanding of what fatherhood is. The dissemination of information in this format is to build a community around the modern idea of fatherhood, while archiving his thoughts, feelings, and emotions as he embarks on the greatest journey of all.

What is the Dads Dojo newsletter about?

The dads dojo newsletter is a weekly, insightful collection of information surrounding all topics that dads will face during pregnancy and beyond.

Brad welcomes input and requests for articles tailored to your interests.

Are you accepting guest posts on your blog or newsletter?

Not at this time. I expect to run the newsletter, this site, and podcast solo for the time being. However, if you feel like you have a good story to tell or want to be on the podcast, send me an email at brad@dadsdojo.org

Who is Brad?

He’s your run of the mill, 30-something year old just trying to figure it all out. Brad lives in North County San Diego with his wife, dog and soon to be son. For a more detailed description, head to the about me page.

What does Brad do other than Dads Dojo?

Brad has his bachelors and masters degrees in engineering. He’s spent the last 8 years in various development roles in MedTech start ups in the Bay Area and San Diego. His approach to fatherhood closely mimics his approach to engineering problems - making his insights impactful but rooted in science. Outside of work, Brad is an avid weightlifter, cyclists and wannabe chef.
